The Citrus County Sheriff's Office has released two new photos taken of the suspect at the New China Restaurant. Just before 10 p.m. on Thursday July 22nd, the New China restaurant, located at 3599 N. Lecanto Highway in Beverly Hills, reported an armed robbery.

A lone subject came into the eatery holding a handgun and demanding cash.  The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money, at which time he fled from the restaurant in a southeasterly direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, black knitted cap, black gloves and sunglasses. No other new information has been released at this time, but the Sheriff’s Office is asking everyone to look at this photo and help identify this man, before he strikes again.

Also early Friday morning two Kangaroo gas stations in Homosassa were robbed at knifepoint. A lone male entered the store, came up to the counter and demanded cash.  He was holding a knife.

The first robbery was around 3:15 a.m., at the 2275 S. Suncoast Blvd. location. He was given an undisclosed amount of money by the clerk and fled on foot. Then at 4:40 a.m. a second robbery occurred at the Kangaroo station at 6241 W. Cardinal Street.

The suspect is said to be a white male in his 30s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, bald and wearing glasses and it appears that the same subject committed both of these crimes.

Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call 911 or 352-726-1121 right away.  Or contact Crime Stoppers of Citrus County, Inc.  Report your tip by texting CITRUS to 274637 (Crimes), clicking on www.crimestopperscitrus.com or calling 1-888-ANY-TIPS toll-free.  Tipsters may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1,000
